Saturday--The sun was up by 5:30, hot and intense. We all got up slowly from a long night before. All that travel and lack of sleep took its toll. By 7:30 everyone was at the pool enjoying the sun, watching the hummingbirds. MA made an excellent breakfast burrito meal that everyone ate with gusto. We had the excursion guide come and make a presentation close to noon. It looks like we are going on a river trip. The girls went on shopping trip in steady, misty rain. Getting out of the driveway was a challenge because of the steepness and condiction of the slick road but they made it and brought back 550.00 worth of groceries. Most of it beer.
We didnt let the rain slow us down, we were in pool despite the rain. Doak gave swimming lessons, we had races and consumed many beers. At night there was a synchronized swimming exhibition that was well recieved.
We listened to everyone's music play lists on the pool deck stero. The playlist was very diverse.
By 10:30 the party peterred out and most returned to bed for a good nights sleep. Doak was still up for at least an hour more...until I feel off to a deep Costa Rica sleep in the topical smells and night noises.
